KVM switch

Post by Erv Niehaus »

I still have a computer running on Windows XL.
There is quite a bit of stuff that no longer supports XL.
A friend of mine suggested a KVM switch. I had no idea what that was all about. Come to find out it is a switch so that you can share your monitor, keyboard and mouse with two computers.
I picked up the switch for about $23 and a refurbished Dell with Windows 10 Pro for $110 and I'm in business.
While I was at it, I also added a switch so I could share my printer with the two computers.
It sure solved a lot of problems. :D

Windows XL ... that's a new one on me. Did you mean XP by any chance?
