Pedal Steel Guitar A Manual of Style audio tracks

Post by Ray Minich »

Does anyone have the audio tracks that accompanied the Manual of Style that Winnie Winston produced in 1980?

This is not the "Pedal Steel Guitar" book from 1975 that came with the floppy record.

I have the Manual of Style book but the envelope at the back of the book is empty and I have no idea where the contents might be.

Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

If there is any copyright problems please advise as well.

If my memory serves me correct they came on two 45's. I got a long hunting job ahead if I'm ever gonna find them....

Thanks.

Does anyone know where I can get a copy of this book? I've been chasing it for years!

Believe it or not I actually found the two records. They've been in a filing cabinet since 2006. Never yet been played. Now I've got 3 turntables to choose from and I hope one has a decent needle.. Jeff, I sent you a reply email... try again if you haven't been successful.

Jeff - thanks from me too! Ray was helping me out getting hold of these and they are gonna be a lifesaver as I didn't have anyway of transferring the vinyl records to digital. I've had the original book years and never been able to listen to the examples!

really appreciate it!

I've got the old version that came with records. Would love to track down digital versions of the tunes if possible.

Thanks!

I'm gonna let Geoff Heard be the source for this material now. I love happy endings. Thanks all.

Hello,

Here we are, 8 years later and I have a new computer and seemed to have lost the files somewhere along the way.

Does anyone have the audio for this book or know where to find them?

Thanks!
Joe
