i would like to change my pedals to the older wider one's like the ones used on the earlier Sho-Buds. I have an 86 LDG and was just wondering if the was possible and who would be able to do it ? I do not have the Pedals.
Thanks so much for any information on this.

Re: Changing to Wider Pedals on My LDG
The wider pedal have a slightly wider axle tube also, ~2 11/16" vs. 2 1/2" on the later narrow pedals, so they have to be cut down to maintain proper spacing relative to the cross shafts in the guitar. Other than that it's just a matter of removing one of the axle clamp brackets on the pedal rack, slipping the old pedals off the axle and slipping the new ones on. Axle diameter is the same for both (1/2"). Those old pedals can be a bit like hen's teeth to find, you might check with Johnie King, he converts a lot of D10s to SD and sells the extra parts.John Kalament wrote: 19 May 2025 6:21 ami would like to change my pedals to the older wider one's like the ones used on the earlier Sho-Buds.
