Songbird-new album by Waylon

Post by Daniel Dickie »

This new album dropped a few days ago made up of songs recorded in the late 1970s-1980s.
I was having listen to it on Spotify.
It has some tasty pedal steel on it by Mooney.
You should all have a listen

Yeah been waiting for this for a while, listened a couple times over on Saturday night. Really y solid stuff that didn't make the cut years back. Great hearing Ralph in something new, but not so new!

Kudos to Shooter for putting this out and am anxiously waiting for two and three in the future!
Regards, Craig

It was interesting hearing some of Mooney's playing as some of it does sound different to his usual style.
Very nice all the same!
I was wondering if Robbie Turner was on any of it but it was probably too early for him being in the band.
I was thinking they should have really released this material 10-15 years ago back before streaming because I'm not sure how many of his fans are going to be buying the physical copies of the album when it is so easy to just download.
I'm looking forward to hearing the other albums too.

I would wager Turner overdubbed anything that didn't already have a steel track.
