Reece Anderson Live

Post by Bill McCloskey »

I have some amazing tracks of Reece playing live in 1975. In order to share them with a wider community, I'm posting them to my youtube channel. There are 33 tracks all together and I'll be putting up one a day. So be sure to like and subscribe and click the alert button so you will be notified when I drop the next one.

The second song will go up today at noon. It's Help me make it through the night. Not sure who is singing. But the 3rd one is a rocking instrumental that sounds like 1970's Herbie Hancock. Hard to believe it is even pedal steel. The way youtube's algorithm works, you have to space out the uploads or it just gets lost. So I've decided to release 3 a week, Monday, weds and Friday at noon. So it will take about 3 months to get all the tracks I have posted.

I'm thinking of just keeping going with some of Reeces' more obscure recorded work after this live stuff is done. I think all of it is out of print and unavailable and Reece's amazing work really should get a wider audience.
