Post by Beverly Harris »

Image Our schedule for June 21 and June 22, 2024 at 11970 S. Elm Jenks, OK. We hope that we have a big attendance to hear these talented players. Our steel players for the gospel vocalist will be Gene Crain, Kevin Jones, Terry Canida, and Austin Stewart.

Back in the day...

I heard that OSGA used to have night shows for players like John, Buddy... Wouldn't it be fun to have players who performed until 10 PM? I wasn't fortunate enough to have met the big guys but I've heard stories. .

The night shows were a lot of fun. We had the best players in the world, floods and tornados.

Losing half the A/C in the auditorium a couple of years ago was a piece of cake.

You are doing great. GO Beverly!

Unfortunately, something has come up and we will not be able to attend this great show.

We were looking forward to playing this show, but I'm sure there are a lot of steelers out there who would love to play in our spot.

Best to Y'all!

Mary and I send sincere thanks to the OSGA for letting us be a small part of their annual show. We dearly love gathering together for great steel guitar music, food and fellowship with so many long-time friends. We wish blessings for the club and hope we can see everyone again next year!

2023 Show

Post by R Crow »

Well, whoever said less is more, knows what they are talking about. Despite having SEVEN cancelations, we had the best show ever. The band brought out the best in everyone, every player was excellent, and the crowd was into the music both days. The facility was top notch, the a/c worked all weekend. I also believe that the sound system worked the best it ever has.

New to our show were 4 Gospel groups/bands Friday, and 4 dance bands Saturday evening. This was also a big success, and will hopefully be a continuing addition in the years to come.

A big thank you to all the players and their families, we can't do this without your support.
