This has come as a complete shock to me. Bob and I would be at a steel guitar convention. We became good friends and often buy similar items there. I will always remember his wonderful smile and very friendly demeanor. Along with Lisa many times also. The conventions will never be the same again for me.
My sincere condolences to Lisa, family and many friends. He will be missed.
I just got the news about Bob and it really makes me sad .He was a great guy and great Steel player. My heart goes out to Lisa and family.I'll be having a shot of Stranahans in his honor this year in Phoenix
So sorry to hear of Bob's passing. He was a special person and musician.
I remember the first time hearing and seeing him just blowing on the C6 neck at a Denver Steel show, I couldn't believe the sound.
My heart-felt condolences to Lisa.
Sad to hear of Bob's passing. He was a good friend to me and to the steel guitar community, and I will miss him. My condolences to Lisa and the family.

I for one will miss my friend Bob Case. We went to a lot of Steel shows together in years passed and always had a good time. He was always pleasant to be around and share time together. May he RIP.
I always looked forward to seeing him in Dallas. He was always kind and soft spoken and always in a good mood. Always a pleasure to be around.
He will surely be missed.
Never met him in person, but I talked too him a couple times back in "14 I think. I bought his blonde Mullen double neck. Still have it.Play it every day. My pride and joy. Rest in peace, Bob
We lost another great guy and member of this community. RIP Bob, you will be missed. Planning to be at the Dallas convention in 2025. We have lost so many since my last attendance in 2022.
