Does anyone have a rodding chart for a 70’s MSA Classic D10? I sure could use one. Thanks, Dale

I had rodding chart for a MSA D10 Classic, Set up was Emmons, E lower LKR, E raise LKL. I looked for it. I think I left it in the case of the MSA D10 when I sold it.

Thats incorrect for an MSA Classic.. If it had either E change, either raise or lower, on a left knee, it was special ordered that way, or it was changed after the fact,,, For years standard MSA knee levers for E9 tuning were -Bobby D. RKR- Lower both E's 1/2
RKL- Raise both E's 1/2
LKR-Lower string 2 from Eb to C# in two steps with feel stop.
LKL-Typically both F# strings up 1/2 tone..
Had several MSA guitars over the years and most were set up from the factory this way.. The ones that weren't had been changed by owners.. When i ordered a new Carter and John Fabian heard my knee lever set up, he said "oh, standard MSA".. This is the knee setup I have used for 50+ years, and I got it from playing original MSA Classic guitars and leaving the knee levers as they came from the factory....

I get it, but then it will not be an original MSA rodding chart that you are looking for.Dale McPherson wrote:30 Aug 2025 4:29 am I need one with the Emmons setup.
MSA Classic guitars are easy to set up.. Pull the rod out after loosening the pull rod locking Allen screw at the bellcrank, then loosen the larger Allen screw that tightens the bellcrank around the cross shaft and slide it wherever you want it.. I am only average at pedal steel guitar "maintenance and repair" and can totally change an MSA Classic copedent in a few hours with just a few Allen wrenches, no "rodding charts" needed. If I can, anyone can... bob
