wright custom knee levers

Post by Mark Perrodin »

i wanted to add knee levers to my 1960 wright custom but i wanted it to look like it could have been made that way. since there was nothing that really could be adapted from other guitars and because it is a cable guitar i was kind of stuck. so i figured a way i could use the existing parts to make knees. i made my parts from 1/8" brass flat stock and adapted the bell cranks and pedals into knee levers. i also added positive stops by drilling and tapping the bell cranks. i like how it came out.

I love a well-executed upcycle, nice work. I suppose your additions could also be called knee-pedals!
