E-66 substitute?

Post by John Gately »

I wanted to replace one of my pick ups with an E-66 but I can’t find one in good shape on the used market. Can anyone suggest a suitable substitute?
Thank you

BL 710 maybe? or check with Scott @ Steeltronics to see what he recommends as a similar replacement...maybe this one?

Jim Palenscar, at Steel Guitars of North County, has two E-66s shown in his inventory, one new and one used.

Check with Nick Fryer. He is doing great work with humbuckers for steel these days.
