Ted: retrofit dobroism?
Is it possible to retrofit one of the melobar models with dobroism, or does it have to be built in as the guitar is made?

Hi Chris,
All the new SXL's and Supersteels are pre-routered for the Dobroism pre-amp, to add it to an existing guitar is tough, you have to cut out a 2X3" square for the board and a 1X2" for the battery box. No switch because we now use a push pull switch on the Tone Control. So it can be done, but it's a job.
