Review of Jason Lollar Stringmaster pickups

Post by Ricky Davis »

Here is my review I did about Jason Lollars' Stringmaster style pick-ups he is making. I did the feedback portion of "Harmony Central" and it just went up today.

All I need is to get to my brothers house and record and take digital pics of that baby and then put them up on the new "Mighty Fine Music" Website. So not much longer now till you see and hear this "SS HAWAIIAN".
I can't hardly wait either.

Ricky,

I'm glad you posted this topic. It prompted me to post my own review of a pickup that Jason rewound for me. The short version is the pickup sounds great and Jason is a pleasure to work with. The review is at: http://www.harmonycentral.com/Guitar/Data2/Jason_Lollar/National-Rebuild-01.html

Here's to Jason, with such great reviews and his book being picked up by Stewart-MacDonald things seem to be goin' his way.

Now I'll put in my 2 cents. I had Jason rewind a pickup from my old Gibson Consolette, and the results are fabulous! Sounds like it's supposed to, with maybe a pinch more gain and warmth. Jason was great the whole way, he knows a heck of a lot about pickups. I know I'll be sending more business his way. Hats off!
