Interesting sites or programs

Post by winston »

Hopefully this has not been done... How about listing some of your favorite sites or programs you have found on the net that may benefit the rest of us. Here are a couple from me, http://dialpad.com/ this is a free phone service. You can call anywhere in the world from your computer free. Another program is www.555-1212.com. You can look up numbers or if you have a number this program will tell you whose it is. I use this quite a bit. I have found a couple of interesting programs off the forum. I am sure everyone has a few.

http://www.audioheritage.com
This is a very cool and informative non-commercial website, dedicated to James B. Lansing and the companies he founded, the people and products involved at them.
It contains a growing assortment of anecdotal stories, information, reference materials, and original documentation.
Anyone interested in the evolution of professional audio equipment, and loudspeakers in particular, will find some fascinating reading there.
Check out the "Cost Not an Issue" sort of loudspeaker designs by Drew Daniels, who was a design engineer at JBL Pro. He really knows what's happening tegarding the subject.

Hi all ,
For the last few months , I've been absorbed in the msagent technology .
If you don't know , there's a couple of things to download and install first , but it's well worth it .
The best info can be found here ,
http://msdn.microsoft.com/workshop/c-frame.htm#/workshop/imedia/agent/default.asp

Excellent site for more agent stuff , over 234 characters to collect , most of them free , and also applications which use the technology ,

http://www.agentry.net/Welcome.asp

And if you're already up and running with the agent software ( I'm told it's part of the Win 2000 or M.E. ) here's a little " guitar " you can really play with , in any key :0)
